Compare birth dates rather than rounded ages

Enter both dates of birth to find the gap between two people. Dates provide a stable comparison, whereas subtracting ages in completed years can change temporarily when one person has celebrated a birthday and the other has not.

For example, birth dates of May 10, 1990 and August 15, 1992 are 2 years, 3 months, and 5 days apart. The birth-date gap stays the same as both people grow older. Reversing the inputs changes which person is older, rather than creating a different underlying interval.

Use the result for family timelines, sibling comparisons, or learning calendar arithmetic. Monthly anniversaries use the last day of a shorter month when the original day is unavailable. A date-based comparison does not account for birth times, and matching birth dates do not necessarily mean matching birth moments.
